Edudigm, an initiative by 4 IITians is an attempt to bring about a change in the way education in general and science is particular is learnt, taught and perceived. Due to excessive pressure and demands of the various competitive exams, coupled with the mushrooming of thousands of coaching centers, the quality as well as interest levels have gone down. Our beliefs encompass the underlying spirit of success, which is "If you love and enjoy doing something, no one can ever beat you in that". The focus of our initiative is on the means, which to create an environment congenial for learning, understanding and enjoyment of science and its principles, and not on th ends where the entire focus is on getting a rank. Out of lakhs of students only a handful make it to the most coveted institutes every year leaving the majority in a state of confusion and anxiety. Hence, our focus is on the means of attaining knowledge and providing the necessary motivation, inspiration, tools, technology and support leading to superior skills and nurture of talent. A natural by-product of this would be better results, be it board exams or competitives.
