Science, Engineering & Mathematics

Engineering is a popular field of study in India. Every year a number of students appear for several engineering entrance exams. With the rapid industrialization and opening of the economy the domain is generating numerous opportunities.

The course programs are generally of 4 years and one can also do research work on the chosen area of study. The enrollment is done through common entrance test. These tests are conducted both on national basis and also on regional basis. These exams are the initial hurdle that a student needs to clear before embarking on the course. Once the students clear these exams they get admitted in accordance to their ranks. The course programs cover the basic as well as provide an in-depth knowledge on the chosen subject of specialization.

Today, in every aspect of life we can witness the contributions of these engineers who have helped in shaping our world. They have paved the way for a better tomorrow and strengthen the present with many utility products. Transistors, mobile phones, fans and computer chips are some of their contributions. Engineers have also contributed a lot in the field of medicine. Medicines, medical instruments, and other technological support have removed the surgical complexities and treatment cost to a drastic level. What previously was impossible is now achievable. The developments in this field are continuing and with influx of large sum of money research work is further getting got encouraged.
